In fantasy sports you are always on the lookout for the best players!
Fantasy Basketball Points System Ofibask:
Points:
1 point = 1 point
Example: Player scores 20 points — gets 20 points.
Rebounds:
Defensive Rebounds — 1.25 points for each
Offensive Rebounds — 1.5 points for each
Example: Player made 10 defensive and 3 offensive rebounds — 10 × 1.25 + 3 × 1.5 = 15 points.
Assists:
1 assist = 1.5 points
Example: Player made 8 assists — 8 × 1.5 = 12 points.
Steals:
1 steal = 2 points
Example: Player made 4 steals — 4 × 2 = 8 points.
Blocks:
1 block = 2 points
Example: Player made 3 blocks - 3 × 2 = 6 points.
Turnovers:
1 turnover = -1 point
Example: Player turned over 5 balls - 5 × -1 = -5 points.
Fouls:
1 foul = -0.5 points
Example: Player committed 4 fouls - 4 × -0.5 = -2 points.
3-Point Field Goals Made:
1 3-Point Field Goal = 1.5 points
Example: Player made 3 3-Point Field Goals - 3 × 1.5 = 4.5 points.
Field Goal Percentage:
This can be an added bonus if a player makes over 50% of his shots. For example, if a player makes over 50% of his shots in a match, he gets a bonus of 3 points.
Free Throws Made:
1 free throw = 1 point
Example: A player makes 6 free throws - 6 × 1 = 6 points.
Double-Double:
If a player scores a double-double (e.g. 10 points and 10 rebounds), he gets a bonus of 3 points.
Example: A player scores a double-double (10 points and 12 rebounds) - 3 bonus points.
Triple-Double:
If a player scores a triple-double (e.g. 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists), he gets a bonus of 5 points.
Example: A player scores a triple-double (10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) - 5 bonus points.
Performance Bonus:
If a player scores more than 30 points in a match, he gets a bonus of 5 points.
Example: A player scores 32 points - 5 bonus points.
Fantasy MVP of the Week:
If a player becomes the most valuable player of the week according to fantasy (the most points), he gets a bonus of 10 points.
Team Win or Loss:
For a team win in a real game, +2 points are awarded.
For a team loss - -2 points.
